25% off 6 bottles of wine and champagne at Sainsburys

  • I'm not sure if this offer is still current (does it end at midnight tonight, or midnight tomorrow?) but for those looking for recommendations I picked up a couple of bottles of Casillero del Diablo Sauvignon Blanc for £3.49 each once the 25% was taken off, and I was really surprised by how good they were.

I think they'd been reduced from abut £6-7, but were better than many other Sauvignon Blancs in that price range I've had from Sainsburys in the past. And for £3.50 a pop you can't go wrong. If the offer is still going tomorrow I'm off back to stock up!

Ah, thank you for clarifying! I was confused by the website saying for delivery by 1st March, but I guess the reasoning is that they would have had to be ordered before 1st March for delivery on that day.
  • I will think about not sure to buy. thanks

Maybe it is different each store?- definatly finished last
    night at ours.
  • There are some "almost" free wine tastings at some Sainsbury's stores around London. £10 booking fee, but you get £10 off a spend of £30+ on wine, so it's effectively free. They're a good way to find out if you like any of the 6 Spanish wines that they're featuring.

Google "sainsburys wine tasting" or Tasting Sessions to find the links. I don't post often enough to add them.

    Cheers,

    David

Before you "get into trouble" with more posts about this (I see there are already another 3 or 4) given your position in the company that runs these sessions (as you've stated in a couple of posts - quote "I run the company that is hosting these events") I suggest you contact the MSE Admin people to get their blessing on the subject.
This will allow you to "declare" their approval in any posts you make if they so grant it.

I've known more than the odd member get banned from the forums for similar posts despite the poster being very open about who they work for and only offering basic advice and NOT even promoting anything
