She didnt write anything on the reciept, so does that mean i can take it back again and get a refund???

Yes you can, but try a different cs not the one that gave you your refund.

Must admit Ive never done it though

Well i did it, got my first R & R today!!!

Gordon Ramsey book, humble pie. Sticker £8.96, Charged £9.96

The Julie Goodyear book was still there with a lower sticker and higher SEL.

The smoked haddock was still there with higher pack price than SEL.

Finest rump steak appeared to be put above the wrong label. Label said finest rump steak SMALL. The packs were higher than the SEL and i couldnt see a label that didnt say small to see where they should have come from. I wasnt brave enough to try this on my first run!!

Went to CS and as i had paid by card she asked for it and credited it back, she said you get the book and a full refund £9.96, to which i put on my amazed face and she then said happy xmas.

She didnt write anything on the reciept, so does that mean i can take it back again and get a refund???

Yes, you have a golden r&r you jamming so and so, well done you. I would take the book back to another store if you don't want it to get a refund rather than do it in the same store.:T :T
    I had a plan..........its here somewhere.

I thought this might be what you call a golden r&r, thanks for confirming.

Down side was when i got home and opened the boot 1/2 dozen eggs fell out and broke, so that was my payback!!

Well done Claire, great feeling isn't it, it doesnt go away either, the bigger the RandR, the bigger the "rush".

Its nice to get the Golden RandR as well..............The only problem I forsee, is, if this were to happen regularly, then the use of a credit card or clubcard is not recommended, as it shows 2 refunds but only 1 purchase....and while its not likely to be picked up......Tescos have picked this up with a few of us.

I got another Golden yesterday on a PSP console, after the SA said I could only exchange it, as I didnt have the bill.

As I was contemplating what to spend my £150+ on, the same SA came running up to me with a massive smile on her face, saying, she had spoken to the "boss" and she thought my story was so "touching" that on this occassion I could have a full cash refund.

Thank you I said.........isn't this store wonderful........(Ive had some great goldens and exchanges here)

Be careful with the Julie Goodyear book tho.....it scanned yesterday at £9.96 for me.
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

    Hi

If you get the possibility of an r + r on a DVD or Video game a lot of them are just empty boxes which you pay for at the checkout and then go to the CS desk to get the game. What is the best way to claim the r + r.

    thanks

    Lead,

Can you expand a bit on how you were rumbled on the double refund - I've never heard this happening before.

And a PSP console mis-priced this week - news to me - want to share?

I would advise you to collect your item from the CS desk - once you have it in your hand go to put the receipt in your purse/wallet - then express some surprise - "I've just noticed that I was charged...."

    Then take it from there.

Personally I would not attempt to claim the R&R until the product was in my hand.
