I just wondered if the bundle counted as purchasing an xbox 360 and a game, as technically you are purchasing both an xbox 360 and a game. Knowing my luck they will probably give the £20 off it!! I thought I had found one as the bundle was the same price as the premium but it came up as the right price when I checked it!

There is a bundle box that IS the same price as a standard Xbox console. You need to try to buy a bundle box + a single game to see if that also triggers the discount. If it doesn't, then game on!DTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!0 -

I can and will make it private if you want- ie only those I or another (probably sopplayer) approve will be allowed to view and post in the area
Certainly will stop any issues
There has to be about 200 of you sopplayer can verify are real r and r people and won't ruin the area, report to tesco etc
It'll take a few seconds, i'll do it if you want it guys

I think it will be really hard to distinguish between Tesco and non Tesco employees. They only need to register using a hotmail address etc and away they go.
And to be honest, that is not what it is about for me, my gripe is that Tesco's over charge thousands of customers every day. They make billions of pounds every year, the only way to stop this is to continue with a public forum which everyone can view. That way Tesco's can monitor it and change their prices accordingly and stop ripping of the every day consumer like your Nan, Mum etc. If those of us who are lucky enough to find this forum in the meantime then so be it, we will continue to battle against Tesco's attitudes and tactics.
I said yesterday that I welcome newbies, a fresh pair of eyes in a new store is always good news for the forum. We took on Mr T and we won:D
Shame it had to end, will have to get free stuff from comps now :beer:0 -

I just need to find a store now that has a self scan bit that you can check first. Will the discount show when you do that or do you actually have to buy it first? As I can't afford to buy it at the full price, but obviously I can afford it for free!! Lol!! Has anyone else tried this method yet? The yellow ticket said that it expired 26/12/2006.

Just for info, I was in Mr T's today and overheard a conversation between a woman (whom I thought worked there) and a member of staff. They were talking about the SELs for the mobile phones on display. She said something like "It's the thin one's that are causing the problems" pointing towards the Motorla L7 and a Sony Ericsson. The young lad then replied that the whole lot had been checked. Next the strange bit, a customer asked her which network Tesco Mobile used. She said she didn't know as she didn't work for Tesco. Who did she work for then? She was deffo "staff side"...
HTH...and then the window licker said to me...0 -

If the yellow ticket does indeed say, buy ANY xbox 360 then i would say that yes a bundled xbox would be ANY xbox 360.0 -

No mate, you're not the first person to ask though.
Well, went to Tescos, just got back, and unfortunatley they had no more copies of Tony Hawks leeft for the 360.
Thanks to the OP though.,0 -

Easiest way is go to electrical counter, knowing how much you are expecting to pay, i.e xbox 360 at 280 plus game at 40 less 20 for the package, so if they want to charge you 300 then you have forgotten your credit card and will pop back later, otherwise if they are going to charge you 320 then grab it out of their hands and wander down to customer services.
Do not query price with electrical counter just take it and pay0 -
Went to a store that still had the premium advertised at £260 ish, no electrical counter so went to customer services/ cigarette counter to buy one, they called over manager to go to stock room to collect the xbox and he came back with the PES and GOW packages and my heart did a little flutter but he then proceeded to check that these were the same as the SEL as there was a choice, needless to say these scanned higher, manager noted they were higher and so couldnt sell them to me at r+r price.
