Well I'm sure this has been mentioned before :rolleyes: ...but here goes.

there is another forum where you have to register to see/post the threads.

it was set up when this thread got locked before...and masses registered.

but then it went quiet......when this thread re opened....although some still do post on this site.

and before you ask....yes anybody can register...even the spys.....it was more of a damage limitation exercise.

Funny thing is... I'm sure it will limit the spys in looking at the misprices....based on the fact that you do need to register....but it will only work if people use it.:cool:

Erm, this would be a fantastic step forward. Then maybe the hundreds of thousands (millions?) of overcharges every week would stop.

But unfortunately a dedicated tesco sub-forum wouldn't achieve that. What it would achieve is making it easier to read and discuss misprices without them all being lumped into one thread. Being able to have one (locked) thread with all the accumulated knowledge in. There would be less clutter and junk.

So good in fact that I now have my own private Tesco forum set up. To keep out the spys (I think you'll find it's "spies") I'm letting nobody else in at all.

I think some people here are losing the plot. I'm with the anarchist on this one.

Any Tesco employee who wants to get access to a restricted board wouldn't have too hard a time doing so.

Anyone who is interested simply needs to spend 30mins a day going through the 2 threads to find all the misprices.

Finally, if you have a restricted board, you are playing into Tesco's hands...less people see the misprice, less people take advantage. Add the fact that this is MSE and it is for everyone to save money, not for a select few to make thousands of pounds.

Finally, who would do the selecting when it came to who had access to the board? And what would be the criteria?

The sad truth is that there is no way of stopping any determined Tesco employee from accessing misprices published on this site.

Some very good points !, but I often think that we are scoring in our nets when we post the bigger finds on these threads, now I will openly admit that if I found anything of any significance then you can be sure that it wouldn't be posted on here, now that maybe an unpopular point of view, but I would rather share my information with people that I trust and who have shared information with me. It doesn't take too long to figure out who to trust and moreover the information is delivered quicky and accurately.

So be sure to build trust with a group of like minded people

Although both work for Tesco their posts are informative and they answer a great many questions raised by other members. They also pour oil on troubled waters and placate the mildly paranoid!

Well I have to admit that those two have not been invited into my circle of trust, but hey if they want to privately share any info they have?
