Sorry if I am missing the obvious here, but how could you tell?

Very nice lady on the checkout noticed that the offer didn;t come off , and told me that it was because it was a few minutes past 2 on the system and the prices changed at 2 on the dot

When I visited yesterday I noticed that lots of new white SELs had already been put up ready for change of prices tonight. This meant that lots of stuff was cheaper than the SEL prices. It was particularly noticeable on the meat aisle. Items like the half leg of lamb, with a new SEL nearly £2 Kg more than pack price. Perhaps Mr T wants the uninitiated to think they're getting a bargain!

Without a doubt, just wait till the xmas sales when the will give you £20 off an xbox etc.

There was an article the other day saying how they have put up the prices of basics like bread milk eggs etc in the build up to xmas.

Are the xbox 360 premiums and cores still going through at the higher price?

The ones without the games are still scanning incorrectly as posted yesterday.

We thought the ones with games could now be incorrect but they are correct still today. But tomorrow is another day.
We took on Mr T and we won:D

Shame it had to end, will have to get free stuff from comps now

Hi, what is the best way to contact Head Office? I've emailed them and had no reply. I have a pretty stonewall claim - I bought an XBox 360 premium, white SEL £259 (no expiry date), scanned at £279. CS lady was going to refund and replace, but was overruled by manager who said only to offer £20 back. He had no vaild excuse for this. Eventually I asked for my Xbox back, saying I would take the matter up with HO, but he wouldn't give me it back, stating I had to accept the refund before he would give me it back!

Nice CS lady eventually handed it over to me despite his protestations, and apologized for his behaviour, but said she couldn't give me the R&R without his permission.

This is what is absoultey wrong with this company. Management seem to pick and choose when this policy applies, and usually if its a cheaper item, no problem, but anything more than a few pounds then suddenly the policy no longer applies any more it seems. Complain to Head Office and they they usually say we can't override local management.

I pressed your thanks button instead of quote just in case you are wondering why I have thanked you
I have just spoken to dundee and joanne leith is going to be handling claims just like before the regulars will know her
so you just ring dundee & you will get refered to her, she was very nice last time but us serial offenders might get a hard time

Sounds promising. At least there is going to be one point of contact, which means a consistent approach (hopefully).

Wouldn't that kinda suggest that you have got information about who to contact from another source (i.e. here) that would mark you as a potential RnRer?
Probably best to just wait to be transferred, or prompt whoever you are speaking to with a "I can't be the only person who has been overcharged/defrauded like this, isn't there somebody who has more experience in these matters?"

no just play dumb and explain your case if the CS person does not mention joanne leith or " the dedicated team dealing with it" then ask to speak to a supervisor ,always be the suprised ordinary shopper who has no inside knowledge of what is going on
