i Phone 4 seems to have died - where do I go?

Help I'm not very good with this sort of thing. I have an i phone 4 which I got in November as an upgrade on my O2 contract.

I have been using it this evening and went to look at a text and it appears to have died! I thought the battery may have run down so I plugged it in but it didn't even make the normal "ping" noise and say it was charging, so I'm thinking it has died!

No where do I go for help? O2 shop? Apple shop? I am terrified I will lose all my phone numbers and some photos as I hadn't backed it up for a few days!

Also I need to have a phone. Does anyone have any thoughts about what it might be and where I should head for first?

Thanks

  • Have you tried holding in the power button and the home button together for about 10 secs, normally sorts it.

Failing that take it to Apple

If it was me I would take it to the apple shop without a doubt....you can explain what you need direct face to face etc ;)
