How do I find out which numbers are on my SIM or my phone?

I need to send my Nokia phone for repair, but want to make sure that none of my contact numbers are left on the phone.
How can I find out which numbers I have saved to my SIM or which are saved to my phone. It is a Nokia E55.

If memory serves, you can choose where they're stored in the contacts settings.

In all my phones the numbers saved to the sim are shown with a sim-like symbol in the list.

Copy everything to the SIM before sending the phone for repair.
And then make a back up using a cheap SIM card reader.

Thanks for all the help. I am not techie minded at all but have managed to back up to my PC using Ovi Suite.

How do I find out which numbers are on my SIM or my phone?
