ringo_24601 wrote:ok, we exchanged on monday so i've a fair idea of how this works. We are bottom of the chain FTBers. We got a call about lunch time from the EA of the vendor to tell us that exchange would be occuring within the 'next hour'. About 2 hours later I got a call from my solicitor telling me exchange had occured for the chain.
It's pretty stressful and the exchange was delayed as we all argued about moving dates. Waiting for that call was terrible, but well worth it
my nerves would be shot!0 -
Good luck with the exchange:beer: !
We exchanged at 4:30pm on a Friday, but even the solicitor said that it was an unusual situation and usually exchange takes place earlier.0 -

Its possible, but remember Friday is by far the busiest day for conveyancing and they're often impossible to get hold of.
