Thats a shame because they do state in there email you can pick it up today

Sorry I mean when you ordered online I dont think they sent me an email
  • I have been to collect 5 bags I reserved last night and they came up on the till at £2.98 each.

I told the assistant they were £1 each when I ordered them and after a phone call the manager agreed to honour that price.
If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.

Reserved 6 bags yesterday to collect today. Husband has just called to say that B&Q will not honour price as offer finished yesterday. He had a copy of the confirmation email from B&Q but the manager was not having it and said " read the small print"

Basically the computer will allow you to order until midnight for next day collection but the promotion closes the previous day and they will not let you have the goods at the promotion price.

Really bad customer services from B&Q.

Anyone going especially today to collect should check with their store first.

That sounds ridiculous.. I reserved 5 bags last night and was hoping to go collect them today.. Has anyone else has similar experience to this today? Am considering not bothereing with it now.

Thanks I was going to pop in today making a special trip, I ordered 5 I just made a note of the reservation number only I dont think they sent me a email now

They should honour it if it was placed at the old price, I know they can legally refuse but morally it is wrong, if I had known as some others would I would have gone in just before closing

    1.
On Wednesday 23 February 2011 after 10:00 take your reservation number xxxxxxxx into our xxxxxxxxxxxxxx store. Your items will be held until store closing time on that day.

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]2. Give your reservation number xxxxxxx to a member of staff who will find your items for you.

  • Yep, I've had this issue with B&Q before. I ordered an item one day, went to pick it up the next and it was no longer in the sale. They wouldn't honour the price I reserved it at and the manager pointed out that it does say at the bottom of the confirmation email that the price charged will be whatever it is in store on the day you collect.

Pretty rubbish though. I reserved some bags of compost last night but I won't be bothering my backside to go in for them as I won't get the sale price :0(

I got mine today at old price (£1 I took the email I got with order number) they told me the price went back up on Monday not yesterday when we ordered. I had to pick it in garden side outside so they dont hold things back
