Having never used groupon, two questions:

First of all in 'my orders' it says 'Asked for deal, payment method to be verified.' I paid by Paypal. Is this normal? When should this change as I don't want to lose out if it inexplicably declines!

Secondly, do the gift vouchers there usually display the price paid? As I bought 2 as a gift, don't want to come across as being really cheap although I will clearly explain when handing over a paper voucher that I got a deal on it!

It won't have the price you paid on it, just the price it's worth. I've bought Groupon as gifts before & it's gone down well in the past :)

I am so naughty...I just bought one!
Ooopsie, my hand just happened to slip and enter all my paypal details

It is valid until 25th May so I'll pop it in my voucher/gift card envelope and save it until there is something I really need.

Oh, and as you get a free £5 with the love your body card in your birthday month I make it £35 worth of items for £12.

ok so i haven't done this and I know multiple accounts is fraudulent but can you you know you get £6 if soemone you recommend buys a deal, say i wanted another couple of deals as gifts, could i recommend say my OH, get him to buy one then i get £6 off mine, ie saving £6 off 2 deals or £9each deal

is this not recommended, do you have to be registered at diffeent addresses-we are as he works away anyway

Its a bit naughty and probably not allowed or recommended but SHHHHHHHH! lol .. I don't see why not as you are still recommending someone else who is buying the deal so its actually a very good idea!

It says recommend a friend and your hubby is your best friend!! ;)

Its like me recommending it to my sister or daughters ( we don't live together ) but its still someone CLOSE and as long as they BUY a deal I don't think they mind....
