according to my groupon homepage, only 8 have been bought!

They're doing it by region, I think. if you check other regions, the numbers vary.

I know. I am really cross. I've bought 5 anyway and am going to be contacting Groupon AND the BS tomorrow to ask why I can't use them in NI!

Thanks again to lesley for posting this, hope we get some joy xo

The Body Shop say you can't spend gift vouchers in NI stores as they are franchises - so not 'official' Body Shop. You should definitely complain, they should have at least made it clear before you bought the vouchers.

    Gah! Stupid Body Shop!

They sort of did make it clear actually, I just went ahead and bought them in the hope that I will be able to get using them. If I'd waited till tomorrow they could be sold out.

I have an idea how I might get around it... if successful I will share with you all tomorrow.

Having never used groupon, two questions:

First of all in 'my orders' it says 'Asked for deal, payment method to be verified.' I paid by Paypal. Is this normal? When should this change as I don't want to lose out if it inexplicably declines!

Secondly, do the gift vouchers there usually display the price paid? As I bought 2 as a gift, don't want to come across as being really cheap although I will clearly explain when handing over a paper voucher that I got a deal on it!

    :(hope you get it sorted

i find with groupon the deal looks good at 1st glance but check the small print.

I nearly booked my car in for a valet the other week seemed really cheap, checked the small print just in time-said car had to be "new or nearly new" :rotfl:hilarious if it was that new i wouldn't be booking a valet, duh!!!
