Just a thought - but would soda stream concentrate work the same as the slush syrup?

I'd considered that too....but it's probably hard to find sodastream nowadays (probably the teeth falling out of kids aged 14 thing that made them scarce!)
  • Just as a follow up, for the syrup, I'm bringing some in from the USA. Fifteen different flavours ...all concentrate in small bottles (each bottle makes a pint of syrup) for about £15 inc delivery to the UK....

for me, this deal works out more favourable than buying in this country as it seems here the syrup is only sold in large 1 litre bottles with most places having a minum order of four bottles (about £50). Therefore £50 for just four flavours (which for one family is a lifetime's supply that'll likely just go off in a year or two!)

I've tried three different Tesco Stores now, with no luck in any (two are selling them for £39, one isn't selling them).

Hopefully the stores "up north" will reduce the prices soon too!

  • My kids were bought one of these. What type of rock salt do you use in it? All I could see in the supermarket was rock salt for grinding. Is this the type to put in?

  • Anyone interested in buying my cherry slush puppy mix off of me?
