ok_go wrote:I fully applaud George for doing this. Nurses do a great job, but so many other health professions also do a great job but tend to get forgotten about. Physios OTs radiographers, cleaners porters etc. It's a shame that this wasn't widened to reflect the countless number of hardworking team members who help support the stirling work of nurses and medicas in the NHS.

I entered this but also heard nothing, I'm just wondering if they were going to issue the tickets at the last minute, in case people put them on Ebay. But coming up to Xmas it aint the best time to ask your colleague to swap shifts for you to go to a concert!!0

Still nothing heard re this gig here! anyone else heard anything.
Getting a bit late to arrange travel/shifts.0 -
I think we've sadly missed out, the tickets are probably allocated by now....or maybe he changed his mind when he realised how many nurses applied, probably millions of us xxxx Let us know anyone who gets a ticket and once again good luck folks xxThis above all: to thine own self be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man. The concert is tonight at the Roundhouse in Camden.....anyone get tickets?0

Have heard of one person who has tickets at my work(hospital). Unfortunately, that person is not me! At least it's not a scam! On a brighter note, it's too cold and I can't be arsed to leave the house so instead I'm taking a packet of walkers crisps to bed to watch RC Nesbitt.0

Sorry to hear that none of MSE members got any tickets. Can the nurses tell me if this was advertised in their work place? As i found this offer from the telly the once, other than that i havent seen it mentioned any where else. My guess is it was a limited number of tickets on offer. Sorry to hear many of you were disappointed.A smile and manners doesnt cost any thing0

Unfortunately I didn't get any tickets.
Well pretty obvious really otherwise I wouldn't be on here tonight:rotfl:
I heard of this on here, didn't hear anything about it at work.
Although when talking to others, some people had heard of it, (nhs and non nhs workers) so I'm not sure how it was advertised, if at all.0 -
