Just got off the phone with orange. have come to the last 3 months of my contract and was offered a deal on the iphone 4:-
£70 up front
£35 / month, 24 months
£12 insurance
500 mins, 500 mb data, unlimited texts.
worked out the total cost, including insurance, £1198
Asked how much for a htc desire hd
£120 up front (didn't like that...)
£10.21 / month, 24 months
£5 insurance
400 mins, 500 mb data, unlimited texts.
worked out the total cost, including insurance, £485
As much as i wanted the iphone (and to all the naysayers, it is a good phone, lovely interface, just the right size) it isn't worth >£700 more than a htc desire hd. just hope the size and battery aren't a problem for me.
