    hi

ok - so i've got a compentency based interview tommorrow.....

luckily i've been prepped by the agency, and been told to provcide examples for the following:

    persuasive skills - MEGA struggling!!!
    teamwork - ok
    initiative - ok
    planning and organising - ok
    prioritising - ok
    achievement - ok
drive - ok - just going to say what drives me.
self development (what ownership you take) - ok
    building relationships - ok
    influence groups - struggling
    RESILIANCE - so,so

can anyone think of anything that i may be able to use for resiliance, influencing groups and persuasive skills - i know i have all these skills, but cannot think of any examples!!!!

i know it's a cop out doing it this way, but i'm so nervous i don't want to look like a numpty, as i really need a job!
Lead me not into temptation, I can find the way myself.

wins - peroni bottle opener, peroni bowl, peroni coastersx2 and a vodkat cocktail kit,
would love to win something 'proper'!!

Influencing groups and persuasive skills are skills that you may use in a team-working situation.

E.g. Influencing groups and persuasive skills: You were a member of a team and you came up with an idea but your team colleagues were not convinced. How did you convince them that your idea was good? How did you get your point across?

Resilience: You found a certain task difficult but instead of delegating back to someone else, you stuck it through, stayed focussed without giving up. It gave you that sense of satisfaction.

Specific examples? I'm not sure what you do.
  • Those skills assessments are a load of bowlocks. and a pain in the bum. Influencing groups - I cant think how you will get round that one. whathave you done for a job previously?
