Advice for rooted android phones
Options
For people worried about network branding, on their rooted android phone, using root uninstaller, you can delete, any app on your android phone, eg i was with t-mobile, so using root uninstaller i uninstalled all the network apps, and the default music player, this has freed up some memory, so contrary to some reports you dont have to flash a new rom to uninstall network apps! hope that helps someone

A small downside to this is that there is a chance that future OTA updates will no longer work on the phone.0

well you can install the network apps back again later, just back them up, and you can unroot with one click,0

Indeed, worth mentioning though.
And just in case anything thinks doing this will gain them some extra storage space on the phone, think again, it won't.0 -
its not the storage space, it slows the phone down my phone alot, once i uninstalled the rubbish it sped it up!0

Yep, things not residing in the memory can only help in that respect. Plus, they're almost always crap and no longer annoy you when you see them in the launcher :rotfl:0
