You realise that all airports have different rules regarding what is and isn't allowed to be taken on board?

Who draws the rules up then?

I certainly wasn't aware that different airports applied different rules - it's more likely that different airlines apply different rules.

I've been through airport security in various UK / EU airports, with babys' items (bottles, food, nappy rash cream, hot water flask etc.). Each and every airport seems to apply different rules.

Some disallow some of the items. Some allow all. Some make me taste the water. Some make me throw it away. One confiscated the flask and milk bottles. Two confiscated the nappy rash cream.

Unfortunately the rules seem to not to be universal - and it's a pain.

Many of the security outfits at airports make their own rules up as they go.

UK airports appear to be far stricter than those overseas.
