I see you're all right- my hopes of getting an iPhone sooner rather than later are really just a pipe-dream, and I'm sorry for wasting time!

Now all it comes down to is- will I have my handset replaced for another model, or be stuck with another crummy M1? Fingers crossed it's the former!

Success! After being passed back and forth between Insurance and Customer Services today when I phoned to ask about my old handset being returned, I've now been offered a free HTC Desire!

Thanks for all the help, but it seems like I'll be alright
