9 years no claims, passed test 15 years ago, SK postcode.

Paid £320 last year, renewel this year £500!

Cheapest on confused etc this year is £600.

For the first time in my driving career I may be cheaper to stay with renewal price - which has a huge % increase year on year.

I've tried all martins compare sites, along with aviva and direct line, anyone else I can try direct?

I live in Stockport, and year on year the price goes up. Last year my renewal with Privilege was the cheapest price I could find - even cheaper than their own quote for me as a new customer! When I bought my Civic the first year's insurance was £400 after £100 cashback, then it was £500 after haggling over the renewal, last year it was £620 and they wouldn't budge. I'm expecting a renewal notice of at least £700 to drop on my doormat soon. :(

Same car, same me, no accidents, 9 years NCB. I do believe Stockport has been pushed up somewhat, but agree that the rise does affect everybody.
