And he a Deliciously Dedicated Doubly Diehard MoneySaving Devotee
apologies to you and you only, if you work less than 16 hours......
grow up
Did accept what you said but you did go on!!!Forums can be/are a good guide to entitlement and it is good practice to back it up with clarification from the relevant department/specialist with written confirmation to safeguard yourself.0 -
If you think that 15 hours is the same 15 hours 59 minutes, I trust you would be happy to work the latter and be paid the former? Nope, didn't think so!

I'm well aware of the difference thank you, but that's not what this was about, was it?
I just wonderd why you felt the need to post a nasty, snide little comment that added nothing.:)"None are more hopelessly enslaved, than those who falsely believe they are free." - Goethe0 -

You are having a laugh, aren't you?
It was patently obvious that the poster you felt the need to "correct" meant under 16 hours rather than over 15.
Being technically correct doesn't make your post any less unpleasant or uneccessary."None are more hopelessly enslaved, than those who falsely believe they are free." - Goethe0 -

It is far clearer to say 16 hours or more because people may work 15 1/2 hours a week.
No point confusing people, is there? I mean, the whole point of this board is to help make benefit regulations clearer...?
Sorry your thread was hijacked by someone with an axe to grind, OP.
DMG is correct - you cannot claim SMI as you work 16 hours or more a week.0
