Refund from China

Can anyone advise? I purchased two Peels from a company called Panda Will on line on the 17th December for a christmas present. They work with an iPod touch turning it into a phone. great product if it worked, however, when my son tried to charge it it didn't work. I contacted the customer services as soon as I relised they didn't work. They said to return them and if they were faulty I would get a full refund. However, after lots and lots of emails, they said they would charge me 60% meaning I would get a 40% refund. I would like a full refund as when my son tried the second peel that was also faulty. They have had the goods back now for two months and were testing them, they say that as there were scratches on the inside of the product I am not having a full refund. You have to slide the iPod in to use the product so there were marks on one but we only used the second one the once to try it out.
Can anyone advise what I can do next?

How did you pay for them? You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0

Thats the issue with buying from abroad, It can cost more than its worth to send the item back.
Items have to be at throwaway money before i purchase from china.
If bought on ebay you can leave them negative feedback, I presume paypal will insist you
return the items tracked before they refund?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Are you also reclaiming the customs you paid for import duty? You just need proof you sent it back for that I think.0

I paid via my debit card0

No I would just like a full refund. They acknowledge they received it as I send it registered post0

they've scammed you
they have hung it out to get clear of paypal/eBay dispute periods0 -
I'll check through pay pal account now. I wanted to know the best way of wording an email to make them pay the refund politely and official sounding, if that makes sense!0

One of the pitfalls of buying cheap sh*t from China I'm afraid, and as you didn't pay with a CC, then not a lot you can do other than accept their offer and learn from your mistake!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
