Is it ok to take a mosquito plug like this http://www.boots.com/en/Boots-Pharmaceuticals-Repel-Mosquito-Killer-2-Pin-Plug-In_1121465/?CAWELAID=551425902&cm_mmc=Shopping%20Engines-_-Google%20Base-_---_-Boots%20Pharmaceuticals%20Repel%20Mosquito%20Killer%202%20Pin%20PlugIn

on board as hand luggage? I've checked the Direct gov website, and it says 'harmful substances' like rat poison are banned. The liquid is 45ml, so should be ok with the liquid restrictions. However, is a mosquito plug (with liquid) classed as a 'harmful substance'?
Thanks.

Is it labelled harmful?
ie. does it have the little orange/black cross on it?0 -
Sorry I don't know as I haven't purchased it yet.0

You could try calling Boots airside to see if they sell it there, if they do then I would expect there should be no problem taking it onboard.

It is a insecticide not Poison, arsenic, cyanide, or weedkiller and it is released by heat.On that alone it makes it ok to wrap doible and out in your plastic bag with your other liquids or buy it air side !"Man invented language to satisfy his deep need to complain."
