    hi i have been reading this and it gave me inspiration that i spend too much and buy too much when shopping so i wrote down everything in cupboards and freezers. i have meal planned all the meals until the ...................... 22nd march. i cant believe it obviously i will have to buy fruit ,veg, milk, etc but nothing for the main part of the meal.

    Good idea about mixing it half with water and half milk though.

    It is definitely nicer with half water and half milk. A touch of salt does make it taste nicer but add some spice: cinnamon, Ginger, nutmeg, etc and it takes it to a whole different level. My kids actually beg me to make this. They call it winter porridge, mmmm!

    wow i've been reading this thread and thinking wow i really shud use my stuff up, but 26 meals is amazing
