Great result, well done and thanks for the info.
It looks like they are just replacing the faulty units on cars that are being returned to them, like yours, instead of doing a full recall.

True, but you do get fair warning before it siezes. If you're stupid enough to ignore things like this (and you clearly aren't), then I have little sympathy.0
