Has anyone extended a Nokia comes with music account by buying a new phone?

At the moment I think Nokia are not allowing you to renew the 12 month comes with music online. However if you get a new Nokia comes with music phone you get an activation code for 12months.

I guess I just wondered if anyone can tell me if they have renewed by getting a new phone and, in particular for example if you got 6months to run on an existing comes with music account if adding on a new activation code extends this to give you 18months?.

The only drawback I see would be you can only use one phone and one PC, but it does allow you to change the PC or phone (if a comes with music one) after a certain time period

You'll soon need a Microsoft Zune pass for the same as Nokia move over to the Windows Phone 7 software. Assuming anyone buys their phones...

....interesting - I didnt think they were closing the service, they may change or rename it of course.

Both T-mobile and Argos are selling Nokia 5230 comes with music, (unlimited for 12months), they must still honour it if they are running stocks down.

....as for if people will buy the phones? I dunno, but if the price is right we cant all spend a fortune.

  • Hi,

I'm interested in buying the phone to get the code to utilise the "Nokia Comes with Music".

Thing is I already have a Nokia X6, can I use the code to download music to my X6?

If so, I can buy the phone from Argos, use the code, and then sell it via Mobile phone xchange, and get all my money back, while still having unlimited music for a year?

Anyone know if this would work?

    Cheers
