so basically you parked somewhere you shouldnt got shouted at by someone with a blue badge and have no idea what type of disablity they had
It can be really annoying when you have a blue badge and cant find a space and the cars who are parked in the disabled bays dont have one

Annoying it may be but they don't need a badge to park there.
  • There are 2 disabled spaces at my local co-op, the amount of lazy lazy lazy barstools that pull into them while they 'nip in' for cigs or milk is unbelievable, seriously, they are getting a 10 foot advantage on being closer to the front doors than if they parked in the other spaces. This winds me up soooo much because my dad is a blue badge holder and the inconsiderate bloots want his space, but I bet they wouldn't want his disability. Makes me want to whack em on the knees with a baseball bat to give them a taste of what it feels like for him to walk :D

Blue badge holders aren't getting an advantage by having big spaces so close to the doors, they have a permanent disadvantage, and those spaces make their lives a little bit easier.

Why do all these parents want to leave their children stuck in their car seats while they cart them round the shops? Take them out, and let them stretch a little.

Noooooooooooooooo! It's bad enough when peoplle bring their kids at all, nevermind having them running round the place!

Really? Do you have any kids?

I'm lucky that the big Tesco near me has lots of trollies that are suitable for a newborn but the shopping centre I use most of the time rarely has them. Given a newborn can't hold their head until around 4 months and even then may not be able to sit unaided in a trolley seat, just where do you expect the little one to stretch out ....... inbetween a bag of spuds and the toilet rolls in the trolley
Unfortunately, that's exactly what people do in my local supermarket. It drives me mad when I see kids (I'm talking about toddlers and older - sometimes up to about 5 years old) standing in trolleys as their parents push them round. I really don't want some kid who may have trodden in dog !!!!!! or anything else standing in the trolley where I'll be putting my food!

I understand that single parents, or those whose partners are busy at work etc may have to bring their children, but what I hate is those that see it as a family day out and bring mam, dad, and half a dozen kids as well, it's bad enough having to get past the OAPs in their mobility scooters without having to fight my way through the biggest family in the world to get to my tin of beans. I live in a slghtly touristy area and have even several times had extended families who are obviously here on holiday shopping en-masse (I am talking about mam, dad, aunty, uncle, gran and grandad and a dozen kids, all moving around the supermarket in one big group......seriously!) It doesn't help when supermarkets encourage them by providing those huge plastic go karts for kids to sit in, that clip onto the front of a shopping trollet thereby making the whole thing about 14 feet long:mad::mad::mad:

Its more than annoying if you need a disabled bay and some lazy idiot has parked there because its closer and you can't go shopping.

Guess it comes down to morals...which it seems the OP doesn't have.
What is pi? Where did it come from?

You are aware that not everyone who qualifies for a blue badge is a wheelchair bound invalid or do you live in the past? Blue badges can be used by any number of different conditions ranging from the visibly obvious to the impossible to tell - I qualified for a blue badge last year despite being 25 years old! (note i didn't have one, but qualified for one) Doesn't matter a jot if you would have moved or not, you were 100% in the wrong.

  • Burtons the bottom line is, it is a choice to have kids. It is not a choice to be disabled.

    Seems to be.

They seem to be comfortable with their own morality
