DH is away tonight in Barnsley.

This may be too late to help you, but please send me a pm if I can help out. Very close to home!

    Grateful - just gorgeous!

Dippypud - sounds like you could do with some hugs yourself.

Mrs B - I just love the rolling pin! Have done a little bit, but must get on now that I've caught up with fred.

Small Cat was back for tea (didn't touch sides). DS1 has named it 'Tim Armstrong', apparently after the 'Rancid' singer - don't ask! The lead turned out to be a red herring and I've phoned Cat Protection and left details. Will phone friends so I can borrow a basket tomorrow and take it to the vet's in the village to check for a chip. It's a bit less shy now, but DH looks definitely unimpressed, so I can't really sit with the front door open in the hope that it may come in. :(

  • Mrs_B little turtle 'Pepper' has gained 2gms this week, so I am pleased, but we still have a little way to go until I can relax with her, her big brother Rolo, who is 2 months older, is doing very well and eats everything that gets in his tank, I will be happy when Pepper is the same.

I was absolutely shattered tired all afternoon, forced myself to cook tea, which was mostly frozen veg so dead easy, then washed up and cleaned the cooker, + hood and filter, kitchen sparkles, but I am now offically dead dog tired, so off to bed.

see you all tomorrow in whichever room Pigpen has us slaving away in:rotfl:

Evening all busy day with little flying.

DH had the day off work so we constructed a hurdle to hide the new wheelie bins dished out by the council - we have 3 wheelies now, 2 of which are not really welcome but I guess that is progress for you.

Took DS2&3 and a friend Go-Karting as a late birthday treat for DS3 (instead of a party). They had a wonderful time.

    AJ Happy Birthday

Greenbee congratulations, does this make moving house more likely?

Jo congratulations, hope you will be very happy

Serena no sun here, planting finished of wineberries/tayberry and mess from fencer cleared away. Primrose are starting to come out in the sunniest spots. Like Hex it really is to wet to dig yet. How is your new machine? I quite fancy one, like somebody else I'm fed up with my miele bags.

Going to put the WM on and finish tidying up from dinner and then I might call it a day. I'm nearing the end of my book which has been a great read.

LL I'm still lighting candles for DIVA and I'm still thinking of you and her, I don't want you to think she is forgotten now xx

  • greenbee and Jo - congratulations.

Have put on weight at slimming world:mad::mad:

Not happy about it, but I have meal planned for the next week and it's all slimming world friendly!

Have decluttered baked potato with tuna and salad and am heading off to watch CSI with DD2, who looks slightly better for a sofa day.!

    Night all!
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j

Greenbee congratulations, does this make moving house more likely?
It'll make it more affordable... the only thing that will make it more likely is me pulling my finger out and doing something about it :o

CBA to do anything else today, so I might go and read trashy novels in the bath... ex isn't working tomorrow morning, so I might get more done without having him on IM constantly. Although I suspect another colleague will be just as demanding. But I really DO need to get on and get some of the stuff for April done. Just because none of the rest of them plan ahead doesn't mean I can't.

Battery nearly dead, so seems like a good time to head off... ooh... just realised, I really should let my parents know about the promotion and payrise! Catch you all tomorrow at some point... have a lovely evening!

  • Not had chance to read much but must say your dog is beautiful Jo and happy birthday AJ and hugs and smiles to everyone who needs them.

Not done anything off the list today but cleaned my sewing room, put away some washing and did half my ironing. Would have done more but had rare chance to spend the afternoon on my own with my mam so that was great.

Off to do sandwiches for work tomorrow. Grr
