Parking at stansted??

Try Pink Elephant Parking. Look up Stansted Airport and there is a link. They do 24 hour transfers and are fully secure.

They are a long term park but I used them for 2 days at £6 per day.

yep just turn up at the long stay car park plenty of spaces, £7.80 per day

the online quotes never seem to to me to be honest, the long stay is never full, there is no need to get a hotel with parking, no need to pay for short stay car park, or the strange buisness of the mid stay car park which for some reason people use and pay another £5 a day more, and probably get a worse service judging by the queues at the bus stop and lack of buses turning up

the long stay is still expensive to me at that price but for 1 or 2 days messing about parking off site aint worth the bother

I have seen queues to get into Mid-stay at Stanstead, and a couple of times driven straight by and gone to Long Stay......always spaces,although I do tend to pre-book.Plenty of buses to and from the terminal whatever time of day.

I hate parking at airports and unless I am going with lots of people and/or luggage I prefer to take a train. I know it depends were you are coming from but the Stansted Express is only half and hour from London and when you get there you are only a short walk from the check in desks.

apparently some people are parking their cars in the village just outside Stanstead (can't remember the name) phoning for a cab to take them to airport and voila free parking!
the only thing is is that it REALLY p%*&&s the locals off!!

They charge £1 per person to take you to the aiport, shuttles run every half hour. Starting at 4.00am

The football club aside, there is no cheap parking at Stansted. There are one or two farms that take a few cars if you know where they are, but they can't advertise. Booking the pink elephant in advance is the best you will do.
