Just want to say I totally agree with all of the above comments. If Santander were a youth, it would be on probation and have an ASBO. It would have to see it's social worker every fortnight and spend most of it's time sat in a park drinking cider and smoking pot.

I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot greasy bargepole!

  • Santander are the worst banking experience I've had in 37 years of holding accounts. For pure customer satisfaction go to FD they're miles in front of the rest.

    Don't do it
You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.
  • You will regret it. Stay clear.

Strange, the strife has been badgering me to switch from RBS to Santander. Can I ask why so many negative replies?

The recurring theme is that they foul things up and then charge you. Or send out your details to someone else. Or your online banking gets locked up and they take months to restore it. Or..., the list is endless.

    erm... http://lmgtfy.com/?q=santander+site%3Aforums.moneysavingexpert.com

p.s. you would be better switching to RBS Scotland as RBS England is becoming Santander anyway.
