    Thanks quintwins, thats really helpful.

I think Tescos income will definitely rise with this price check. I just hope their profits remain so this price check remains. Its awesome and possibly good for Tesco and all of us because if all of us do our main shopping at Tesco now, this extra profit will allow them to keep the price check offer.

This is probably going to sound seeeriously cheap of me - but I don't care, needs must - can someone tell me how they verify the reciept exactly? If one were to keep an eye out for any big receipts people have just thrown on the floor or left behind at the till or whatever, could one in theory use that persons receipt on the website and bag themselves a voucher? People lob them on the floor all the time at my local - would be quite funny to use their litterbug tosspottery to get a few quid extra towards my weekly shop!

Totally agree, however bear in mind that transactions featuring a clubcard might be harder to claim for.

te$co obviously do not train their staff, price check started on the 28th and more than 2 weeks later they are still not aware, though hopefully it means that not many people are taking advantage of this and it will continue longer as the cashier who served me today had never seen one nor had her supervisor, though they all thought it was cool that you could get so much back

they just verify the amount however you'll be lucky 2 get more than a few pennys back on a normal weekly shop, you really need to be clever about what you buy for this to work

not going to get much off a random shop, and anyone that did a DTD planed shop will not leave reciept.

if you want to try your luck and have an unmarked reciept you could try reprinting the voucher that goes with it.

not done it myself but only 1 of my 4 have been marked as used

Is there anything stopping you just targeting certain items? I have done my shopping for this week, but could always do with a few bottles of Jamesons and Baileys lol..
Say i went and bought just 5 bottles of each, would that be seen as abuse of the offer?

no thats what we've all been doing, but if they stick to there £100 limit you can't get 5 bottles of each, as you get £18 back per bottle of baileys alone
