For those that have had problems with getting vouchers accepted in store, look at the top of your receipt and use that feedback and their email address on their webpage to let them know...I had problems with one of my local stores accepting Asda price guarantee, to the point they were adamant they didn't and neither did they accept any internet vouchers despite them advertising on their website that they did. Upshot was that they were very apologetic, efficient and gave me extra clubcard points in return (it was only a very small amount and they gave me more than they had too)
  • Sounds like it's gone in your spam folder. replies seem to arrive before lunchtime, perhaps have a check?

I've checked that too, about a hundred times! Have now tried re-submitting it so will wait and see. Grrr, I want my voucher as was planning on going again tonight!

If the system has let you re-submit your receipt it can't have gone through properly the first time! If it had gone through (but not yet been processed) you would have got a message when you put it in again telling you it was still being processed.

Sometimes you don't get an email at all - but when you try to put your details in a second time, the voucher pops up immediately! Their system is certainly 'iffy' (but this is Tesco so I'm not really surprised).

Aha that explains it... I just tried again as a test and it said it's already being processed, so I guess it didn't work the first time for some reason. A bit annoying but at least I know it's being done!

Sometimes I just can't believe Tesco  Did a shop in store on Sunday, which got me a voucher, then an online shop that was delivered today. Driver did not have a clue what to do with the voucher. He had never seen one and even worse he had never heard anything about them. He did try scanning it but it came up as unrecognised.

I phoned Tesco online who said I could only use it instore, as the shopping had been done instore. Fair enough, although it doesn't seem to say that on their website.

I did ask what would happen if I got one from my online shop, as the delivery driver didn't know what he was doing and she said she would speak to the store manager, but wait for it....

She thought it was highly unlikely I would get one from an online shop, as it was not included and I would not get double the difference!!! Do Tesco train their staff at all?

I might just end up moving to Asda when this offer is over.

Same experience here. The driver didn't have a clue. He's gone off with my voucher now, so we shall see tomorrow whether they refund me.

I also phoned Tesco.com, they said the driver doesn't accept those. I said it says on the voucher to hand to the driver.
