sorry to go on about it, but mysupermarket is only any good as a starting point. Tesco have, and use for comparisons, their own pricechecker website. It's wrong I know, but the two do not contain the same data!!!!

I bought two of these (checked which one on price checker on my phone) but have checked Asda website and it's Asda own brand £3 not the airwick one as stated on pricechecker. Cif cream also £1 on price checker but £1.98 on website. So not overly accurate LOL!! Will be interesting to see if they pay out. I wouldn't have bought otherwise :( Still, it's a learning curve. Everything else was at least stuff I would have bought.
  • i did the price check promise last week. why don't they compare all the goods on your receipt?? i find this pretty strange as the items that haven't been price checked with asda are available online.

There is already a thread in grabbit, a long standing thread which is current.

I dun'no, I seem to attract it, haha. I bought the wine today, hope that goes through, got one red and one white, put it through separate to the rest of my shopping though, don't want to end up with a huge voucher to use! Have to do a normal shop next week, need some staples! Otherwise I'll be living off cornflakes, honey loops and Start cereals served with Banrock rather than milk. ;)

Lol! That's so funny. Me and my sister are gonna try living for free for a week, plenty of cheese on hovis bread, pringles, chocolate, cereal and wine! May end up with scurvy!

I'm looking at shampoo on asda.com which is on offer at 2 for £4.00, individual price £4.30, and Tesco price check has it at £4.30 too. If I bought two would Tesco recognise Asda's special offer?

That seems to be for instore misprices that you collect dtd fom cs instore. This one seems to be for the new policy, where Tesco compares your instore shop with Asda, via the internet, and if you were charged more in Tesco, they email you a dtd voucher.

Exactly, it would be good just to have somewhere to post items we have noticed cheaper in Asda for the new Tesco DTD Price Promise.

The link that Edinburghlass has posted above is for a similar thread but in a different forum.

I think this thread is a good idea to have here in the grabbit forum.

There is already a thread for DTD on tesco misprices/offers not going through/incorrect SELs and a 1p thread within the grabbit forum. So it would make sense to have this one aswell. No?
