Me too. I wish they would leave these extra threads in Grabbit. I miss lots of things, I'm sure, as I don't think to go in anywhere else.;)

  • What happened to the comparison list that was on the forum? Is there a list elsewhere on what products are currently cheaper at Asda at all???

Don't know what happened to that, but a lot of the things may have expired already, maybe it was removed because of that?

The best place to start is mySupermarket...

Each section has an offer section too, when you click an item you can see how much it is in Tesco, when you're happy I'd suggest double checking the items via the price check web site too, I would also suggest you don't do it in the morning as the Asda promo prices seem to change early afternoon (if they are going to change), for example the CIF cream and Andrex refill were both showing on offer this morning but by the afternoon the offers were gone, yesterday the Cadbury chocolate bars and Colman's sauces were showing on offer, but again by the afternoon the offers were gone.

Oh another good one I found was Toffee Crisp bars, 1.78 in Tesco and £1 in Asda, unlike the Mars bars (bounty, snicker etc) they are not 2 for £3 at Tesco, so maximum savings if you buy more than one pack.

Have you read the thread I have linked to?

The above link is the current Price Check offer at Tesco.
  • I dun'no, I seem to attract it, haha. I bought the wine today, hope that goes through, got one red and one white, put it through separate to the rest of my shopping though, don't want to end up with a huge voucher to use! Have to do a normal shop next week, need some staples! Otherwise I'll be living off cornflakes, honey loops and Start cereals served with Banrock rather than milk. ;)

The thread you link to is in Food Shopping and groceries, not Shop but don't drop.

    quick question
i tried a dtd shop today
buying an airwick plugin £6.13 on bogof ,only bought 1 though
now the scent i bought instore is on the asda website at £3
but now i can't find it on tesco pricechecker or their website.
anyone think it will get compared??

I bought two of these (checked which one on price checker on my phone) but have checked Asda website and it's Asda own brand £3 not the airwick one as stated on pricechecker. Cif cream also £1 on price checker but £1.98 on website. So not overly accurate LOL!! Will be interesting to see if they pay out. I wouldn't have bought otherwise :( Still, it's a learning curve. Everything else was at least stuff I would have bought.
