What can be more serious then one of these offenders, yet they get insurance ; )

Ember JD Insurance Brokers do this sort of thing, a friend of mine got a contents policy with them last week after a two year prison sentence.

There's also Bureau Insurance Services (www 'dot' bureauinsure 'dot' com). It's reasonably straightforward to get home insurance, but expect your pre-offence quote to quadruple. NACRO and UNLOCK should both be able to help.

I've used Bureau for some of my clients and found them helpful.

The Policies with most of the Brokers / Insurers that offer these policies are normally expense for the first year or two as the Insurer does not know whether you are a reformed character etc. They often reduce after a year or two so its should not stay really expensive for ever (Providing you do not reoffend or make claims)

Insurance company Fortis will be ok for criminal convictions provided that no jail time has been served.
