Fixed ISA

I have just sent off the Nationwide transfer forms, requesting to close two Barclays cash ISA's and have chosen each one to be transferred into a Nationwide Fixed Rate ISA. Will Nationwide automatically consolidate the two into one Fixed Rate account, or will I have two Fixed Rate accounts? I would prefer to have just the one, and have included a note stating this because I could find no option to merge the ISA's in the forms. (I filled in one 215 form and two 216 forms as requested). Also I presume I can view the Fixed Rate ISA's online. Thanks for any replies,
Kev.

Hi
If your new Nationwide Fixed ISA accepts transfers in, then they should be able to combine these together into one new Fixed ISA account. You will need to make sure you process your transfers at the same time as the ISA may not allow further transfers in after the opening process.0 -
Over the years I have transferred three ISA's to Nationwide, and always found them to be.......................the most incompetent bunch of idiots, however, eventually they sort it out and back date the interest, usually takes around 5 months before it is sorted, but eventually they do get there, so hang on in there, but don't give much hope of them understanding you want to combine the two ?
Why do I stick with Nationwide? I have 11 years of ISA's from different suppliers, so three years ago, I combined them into a five year fixed, but would not hesitate to move when the fix ends.0 -

Definitely move, service counts and banks/building societies will only get the message that a smooth service is important when people start voting with their feet. Hope that 5 year end isn't too far away!0 -
Thankyou for the replies. I really hope it doesn't take five months as they state it only takes a couple of weeks.
