Problem with new car (Vauxhall Astra)

I had the choice from the GM or Ford range. I did look at the Saab, and a few others but this is the right size and very highly speced (I like gadgets)and was the best of the bunch for my needs but thats a different story.
I cc'd the lease company on an email I sent to the dealer, and they were very good. They stepped in and I had an email back from them saying, they'll take care of the matter and get back to me after speaking to the dealer. They were also very apologetic.
I'm still not holding my breath though.
P.S. I'm not trying to make up for anything with my car
