I don't think this is the right place for my post, but couldn't identify a more suitable place to post it.
If anyone can give some advice it would be much appreciated.
During the week just gone I received a 4th letter in an approximate 12 month period, delivered by Royal Mail that had been opened.
All had been delivered in their "Our Sincere Apologies" bag.... that the item had been damaged whilst in their care. They hadn't been damaged, they had actually been fully opened and all 4 letters have been financial related documents, i.e. bank statements and credit card statements.
After the 3rd occurrence I logged a complaint on line with Royal Mail. I received a response indicating that I needed to complete a P58 form and include the damaged item. As this was a bank statement I wasn't going to send this in. For peace of mind I rang my bank, who indicated there wasn't really any risk as people could not do a lot with my bank details, but they would log it in case of any irregular transactions.
Can anyone give some advice.
Thanks in advance.

What is it you wnat advice on ? where to go next ? well all you can do is take it higher if you have the choice or better still get your bank statements online eg opt for non paper statements and you get an email when your statement is ready to view0

Whoever you spoke to in your bank doesn't know what they are talking about.
I have a background in banking fraud.
It could be the post office machines messing mail up but if someone is opening mail then you will be suprised how much a bank statement can reveal person information about you including answers for security questions.
I don't mean mother maiden name and date of birth.0
