Hi guys been on the friends and family deal which expires in a few weeks time.
Do I need to give sky one months notice ?
what do they generally offer you to keep you?
I am currently on the full package and multi room so going up to over £74 I don't mind having it chopped if offer is better
A few people have said that if your partner set up a new account it's classed as a new customer but can't see that being true

Your deal is not going to expire, it is your fixed term contract which ends. All this means is that you can leave sky with 1 months notice, the bill will not change etc.
If you cancelled sky and tried to open a new account at the same address it may be spotted and refused. Do you and your partner have the same surname? If so it almost certainly will fail, if not you may get away with it.YNWA

There's no 'fixed term contract'. The contracts are all open-ended, only the minimum term period is reached, and the contract continues unhindered.0
