By entering the private land and using the parking spaces you enter into a contract with the owner of that private land (see above), and you are therefore subject to whatever restrictions they wish to make.
It is a civil matter, but you do not have the right to park there as that is not what the owners intend.
What makes you think you have entered into a contract with anyone?0 -
Because you have entered their private land, and they are allowing you there subject to their own regulations. There is therefore a contract between you and they are in their rights to tell you where they will allow you to park.0

The best way to solve this parking problem is to eradicate all disabled parking bays.
If someone smeared lipstick over my windscreen I'd grab her by the scruff of the neck and use her head as a mop to wipe it off, stupid cow.Be happy, it's the greatest wealth0 -

The point that all of you have missed is that you have absolutely no way of knowing why the person had parked there. They may have forgotten their badge or forgotten to put it up, had it stolen, it may have slipped down out of site. They may be awaiting reciept of it, or indeed they may not have been disabled, but had a genuine emergency that neccessitated them parking there.
I woder if it would have wiped off the sanctimonious holier than thou grin off your face, if after deflating their tyres, and scrawling over the car with lipstick, the owner arrived with loads of shopping bags and was severely disabled and in a wheelchair?

I hope that clears things up!

being registed disabled and disabled enough for a blue badge are very diffrent indeed, in fact registration ceased when the DDA came in though a few LAs do still keep registers but the main diffrent is that badges are to do with mobility in 95% of cases and the register covered every disability.
What really gets me about people that park in disabled bays on private land dont do it on the road, that says so much about them as people dosnt it.
with any luck we will follow Scotland soon and make all disabled bay abuse illegal.0 -
Well done for committing criminal damage? You (and the lady committing the act) really need to get some perspective.
With a stick of lipstick lol good heavens what ever next0 -

Last year I believe, I read about it at the time in mobilise.0 -
