This dress is a bargain, in your size and coast are doing 20% off today.0 -
Classy definitely! You could carry anything off, but you run the risk of turning up in the same dress as one of your pupils if you buy from a high street shop.
Enjoy it though; you'll be expected to earn you street cred through some bopping!

Words, words, they're all we have to go by!.

another source of inspiration is facebook... browse through photos of teacher friends who have been to school proms to see what kind of thing others wear. if someone's style really takes you, you'll know who to ask for advice on where to shopknow thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0

If there's a House of Fraser partnership shop near you, worth checking out Linea dresses - they're really lovely and nice quality - but you need to try them on to see what works for you:

they quite often do good deals in store, too.
Phase Eight are gorgeous, especially if you have a nice figure - they are flattering without looking naff:

Our Debenhams has a concesion - again, you can quite often pick up good deals.
Nougat is alos 'understated and classy' - though the only stuff I could find that might be nice was 'pre-loved' -ie ebay! I know this isn't your size, but I bet this is lovely!

I have this one, and it is gorgeous on, moves really nicely, and is a very pretty dress for summer - just looks a bit drab on the hanger like this! (mind you, I'm quite a older than you - you'd be after something 'younger' I think!)

It was fine as a 'teacher dress for a prom'!
The trick is buy yourself something you like, that fits you well, and that you'll enjoy wearing lots of other times/places. You can, of course, wear it again and again for proms, as it will be a different group of kids who see you each time!Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0
