  • Well hello there everyone

    :hello: DNMS! :hello:

I'm at the parentals this weekend :D All v DFW and as predicted it's been cooked breakfasts, out for meals and catching up :D

    Other things:
    - Take flask for train
    - Get lift to station ;)
    - 'Steal' some snacks :D
    - Charge everything before we go
    - Bit of knitting hopefully
    - Check e bay listings that are ending :D
    - Sort clothes for work - find something that doesn't need ironing ;)

Not sure what state we/OH left the flat on Friday so what I'm doing tonight will depend on that... Catch up properly when I'm back home.

Oh, just noticed someone retracted a bid on e bay!! Saying 'entered wrong amount' but blatantly just found a cheaper alternative... grrr to peeps going against e bay rules!

  • Morning all:j happy weekend everyone :) list for this weekend:

Lots of quality time as a family
Had to hunt for my driving licence, found €50 :jWhich is great as going to Spain next weekend!
DH went to local shop to buy some specialist running trainers, all part of budget, planning on spending about £75. Got some for £40 as they are 'last season'. The lovely people also gave him another pair for free as they didn't have a box and had a slight mark on the toe. Should have been £75 each  aren't some people lovely :)
Some dear friends coming to visit this afternoon. They suggested going out for food bit have cooked to save some money
    Good clean round
    Washing on, dry naturally
    Check banking
Make list of things to do before/ for holiday :D 6 sleeps :j

    Afternoon all!!

    It is DD1's 8th birthday today :j:j:j:j:j:j:j

we are staying in as have visitors all day - will perhaps take her out to do something tomorrow.

She is getting a lot of clothes for her birthday - she is hard to buy for now and this helps be DFW as it cuts down the amount of clothes i have to buy her for the year :o

MIL's for tea! Made DD1 a cake with a DS on it :-) She got a DSi XL for her birthday and is selling her old DS to put towards it!

Have a great day everyone! It should be a NSD for us :-) xxx

Sold a couple of my son's old clothing recently on eBay. Was really pleased as I didnt know if they would sell. Back in the day when we could afford decent clothes, so they were all from Gap or Polo etc.

However, I have had two complaints. One was from a lady who said that there were marks on the item. I really dont recall that there were so gave her the benefit of the doubt and a partial refund. Just received another complaint re another item. Again told that there were marks on the shirt,'that perhaps I hadnt seen as it was small checks and it makes your eyes funny to look at it'.

So now I am wandering if these complaints are genuine or is it people just taking a chance and hoping for a refund in fear that they will give bad feedback. I know that the second shirt did not have marks.

Any body experienced this before?? Are there eBay trolls as well?

    Hello again :j

    Today;

Mucked out some cupboards - decided to start doing this, as our bin is usually only half full (we recycle and reuse a lot), but we are going to be moving into our house later this year :j:j:jand we will have a lot of junk to get rid of :o

Also sorted out some things for the charity shop :A

And put one item on ebay :T which already has 5 watchers :D:D

Did an inventory of the food cupboards and freezers :)

Washing on line and finished off on airer / radiators

    HM meals :D

Quite a productive day - but Monday again tomorrow, and OH going away for the week :(

But rather him than me - he and a couple of colleagues are taking a group of 30 x 17-18 year olds to Paris :eek::eek:
