Jailbreak or unlock iphone 3gs

Have the above phone which is just coming up to 12 months old on 02 and want to go to tmobile so should I pay 02 to unlock for I think is £20 or jailbreak for free what is my best option?

    If your on contract with O2 they will unlock it free if its PAYG its £15.For the sake of 15 quid better off paying it than waiting for JB and unlocks everytime the software is updated.

    BTW if you hang around that page a live chatbox comes up they will unlock the phone for you there and then.

    Sorry about the above, I meant to say seconded.... I sent off my electronic form (as per the link above) and 24 hours later got message saying that it was now unlocked, simply connect to iTunes with a different sim and voila!
