If Scamtander were worth their salt, surely they would have pointed this out and helped the customer appropriately?

I work for Santander and do agree that some people are less than helpful, but get a bit fed up with being tarred with the same brush. Where i work, we always tell the customer this and have had so many people say how god we are and helpful we have been, so please don't judge all of us so harshly! Also, if you have direct debits with a company, is it not common sense to know that you set this up with the companyin question as they are the ones that send you the dd mandate, NOT the bank?!
 Live well laugh often, love much.

1 overdraft with Santander paid off, credit card almost gone, 1 overdraft that has been halved!! V chuffed with myself!!! :T

because it is such a pain in the back side changing and less and less banks are charging monthly percetage for use of an overdraft. They all moving onto daily rates :(.

Can anyone recommend a good bank that charges monthly for arranged overdraft and not charges per day

Changing can be painless especially if you control it yourself. Also wouldn't it be easier if possible to cut back a bit so you don't need the overdraft, as you're basically handing the bank your hard earned dosh.

Natwest Current Plus Account.19.9% apr for arranged overdrafts. I switched to them (without any problems) from Santandire last year and haven't looked back.
Debt free and staying that way!
