Am having a CP dilemma at the mo - leave them in and risk CP going bust, or cash them in and risk retailer going bust . I think I'm going to do what Tilly does (which is always a good mantra :D) and get Amazon vouchers.

ETA: except you can't get Amazon vouchers :(, back to the drawing board!

GG, I usually get either BnQ vouchers or National Book tokens. The latter do not expire at all, so very handy as gifts for all occasions. HTH.

  • S&S is am@zon vouchers :)

I'm just approaching payout on CP.

  • I've been playing around with the OP calculator and looked at the budget to see if we can OP by more than 600 a month. I might have to cut down the grocery spend but I love my food!:p

I was really craving a takeaway this weekend but I have eaten out of the freezer instead. I think after payday this month I might budget in a takeaway pizza as a treat.:)

Went for a long walk and took a flask of tea so free :)
    Made some homemade pizzas
Made a massive portion of veg soup to freeze in portions
Entered some (cheap) purchases into CP (I get next vouchers to treat myself)

eek - never thought about the companies going bust for surveys! I have almost £150 in CP and was saving it for when I have a house and need to get stuff later this year but may well cash out!

    Around 5 mins a week.
  • I am new but old here. I hope you don't mind.

I made a quiche from Christmas pastry (date was yesterday and the last pastry I shall ever buy again as I am going for it big time now), my eggs (not mine you understand but from my chickens), ham cooked at weekend and hanging about. Nearly free quiche in my books and lovely...
Debt Sept 2012 £140,000 end age 65.5 (maximum) four mortgages in total
    April 2016 £114,599.83 (3 mortgages now)
Nil debt for some many years now perhaps 8. Need to save for a tent for holiday this year but nil else.
Over paying about £500 per month but fancy £600 so will have to think of some very money saving techniques...

Paid some coins into bank and bought cheap tinned veg at Herr A, for hiding in kids' food....

Afraid I did go to C0sta, but minimised damage to £2.15

Paid £30 OP as sun was shining and was in a good mood!

PennyPincher2, don't eggs from your own chooks taste great?! I don't have hens at the moment, but Brahma eggs were lovely.

  • Spent a ridiculous amount of time on Moonp$g last night buying all the greetings cards I need for the year - having previously found a 50% off code for buying more than 5 cards at once. No trawling the shops at the last minute for me this year buying extra things I don't need! :D
