    * Worked from home so saved on petrol.
    * Hung washing outside for a while - not all dry but every little helps, right?
    * put damp washing on airer indoors
    * think I've convinced DH not to go out for a meal but save the cash for a treat later.

  • Batch cooked a curry - 3 x3portions for probably less than £3.
Hung out son's coat after getting muddy at school. Trying not to use tumble dryer.

At 21.50 last night I spotted the MSE posting of a free £5 ebay code so I was able to get DH something he wanted for free. Great offer, so nice to have something for nothing.

Compromised on a simple meal out and agreed with DH that we'd try and be careful with our cash as lots of bills coming up on car and house.

Over the last couple of days -

Got 2 copies of the Daily Mirror yesterday as there's a cycling promotion on at Aldi so used one £5 off a £35 spend to get some cycle gear yesterday and using the other one for food/wine this weekend.

using 1 teabags for 2 cups as I like it quite weak.

Washing just about managed to dry on line before the rain started.

Heating off and putting jumper on instead when cold.

Have moved what was in my 'car maintenance' account with First Direct (e saver, paying 1.0%) and am going to open another Halifax websaver at 2.8% instead.

Received a £5 Amazon voucher from Superpoints; Redeemed another £5 Amazon from Swagbucks.

Got sister-in-law's Christmas present off the Grabbit board.

Used mysupermarket to check prices for my shopping at Mr S and then went to Aldi on the way and if it was cheaper I got it there, think I saved about £5 all for a bit of research first :j

Thats strange. Ive had nothing at all today - in fact nothing all week.
I have been constantly logged in every day at work so that I can keep checking because I have been at £39.95 since Monday.
    I smell a rat.
