Totally failed today, only MSE item is:
*dinner will be from mealplan
Failed on the lunch front - bought Subway and had a cookie too! So no 50p in the change boo!!!!
I suppose I did ok when I went to get a box of choc for my Aunty & Uncle, (which will be a present from my Mum & Dad for their Golden Wedding Anniversary!) Got a £23 box of Thorntons for £15 in their sale, but this doesn't really effect me as I haven't paid for them - it did mean that I could get a bigger box of chocs for the money though.

Fixed my bike so I cycled the 4 miles to tennis (and back later) instead of driving. Unfortunately as I wasn't driving it meant I could drink so I spent £5 in the bar
. Ah well, best laid plans and all!

Morning all... just wanted to say i love this thread, i'm still trying to catch up on it (managed to get to page 30) but i'm working my way through.
So to join in, if i may- had a day off work and only popping into town this afternoon so less petrol being used(however am going to have hair cut - 1st time since Sept 10:eek:)
- 20p on onepoll (back up to £5.60 in less than two weeks - fab!)
- Having "brunch" so one meal instead of two! (is this a bit far??):rotfl:
- using Tesco own wholemeal bread for brunch - quite nice and half the price of other brands (savings approx 0.60 a week)
- enquired about cavity wall insulation and loft insulation this morning £140 for both - should have a cosy house this winter and less to pay out to the d*mn fuel peoples
- completing a meal plan for the month as we go along so that i can be prepared and copy it next month - less thinking, less wastage of food!
linz - onepoll regularly crashes for me now too ( i thought it was just because i was using it at work) - they must have changed something when the revamped the site. it usually comes back up if i hit refresh though..Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
I'm working from home today so that's saved me £6 on petrol. Done a couple of surveys. The tricky bit will be not having drinks after tennis today, could blow the whole day!Mortgage Start (08/10) : £96,685

Feels like ages since i posted.
I've been on a bit of a survey/review marathon for the past few days.
I got put onto writing some shopping guides for a website, so i have done 5 guides for hopefully £10 per guide. It took a while.
Other than that, the usual trying to keep on top of all the survey invites and reading/rating/writing on ciao and DY.
DH reached £50 on yougov too, so we are waiting for the cheque for that to pay into my mortgage. It is shaping up to be a better month than i thought, but this pace is a bit much so i might take the weekend off for some fun instead.0 -
