  • but unfortunately takes a bit more convincing for me maybe all their posters cleared off to the arms without a variety of personalties and views the topic can soon become stale and hum drum and who wants to read that.

Maybe they thought that as the topic was so helpful to so many people it wouldn't really have mattered if they moved it, and were surprised at how many people complained and thus reconsidered their view. :)

baked peelings? what are they - like crisps I guess. That's a new one on me but they sound quite lovely.

they are delish, shove on a baking tray with a bit of oil, bit of salt and cracked black pepper and bake till they're ready! :)

good for you and much better than throwing them away - if i didn't do this with them, i'd save them to put in a soup :)
  • but it takes you off track of why we sort this forum out in the firstplace which for our family is to budget and make the housekeeping go further it actually has taken people of this topic in a negative way not helpfull for anyone at all.

Hello all :) we missed you :rotfl:

Is there an initiation process for arms recruits?
  • I see what you are saying, but I am not sure if I agree :o I think there was too much talk of keeping on topic previously and it broke up the rhythm of the thread anyway, and then there was the occasional left field completely OT post which no one dared to suggest was OT and completely off the track of the thread, and in my opinion cast a negative light on the thread. But I think its would be better if we put all that behind us and got on with helping and supporting each other now, and in the future. :)

Yes, pull your left trouser leg up to your knee, put your pinny over your head and hop backwards in a circle waving your rolling pin and yelling "add more len-tils, add more len-tils!" six times :D

I do think there are "good guys" here though. The lovely folk here helped me so much when I really needed it and I'll always be grateful for that. Hope you'll stick around, saveabobortwo. x

Jackie, that has happened to my spuds so many times! I was at a grow your own food event and the speaker was showing us seed potatoes he'd carefully chitted and they looked like the spuds lurking in my cupboard with all the sprouts! :rotfl:
Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far! :)
Sorry if I don't reply to posts - I'm having MAJOR trouble keeping up these days!
