Hopefully it's easier than when I set up my energy monitor a couple of nights ago - I was ready to go find the inventor of said monitor and hit him round the head with it!

Please update - I can feel an amusing story coming on :D

    Thanks everyone :)

The bed is all together now. A lot of shouting from OH, but not as bad as other episodes we have had in the past with putting furniture together!! A lot of the time, he couldn't see what we had to do, I would take one look at the instructions and do it right first time. That showed the little know-it-all!! ;)

I am knackered now though. Have to remind myself sometimes that I have CF when I feel like this. Not right for a 30-year-old to feel this shattered after doing something so simple. Still, I've got a nice comfy bed to sleep on now :D.

Had a nice sleep on the new bed. However, OH woke me up at 7am because he was leaving to drive to Birmingham. He has taken my car as it's a lot more economical than his. I know to the exact mile how much petrol I had in there, so he better make sure he returns it with that or more ;).

Spent the past couple of hours signing up to some more MS companies. I thought of a good way to offset my petrol costs when I have to go to Southampton for my hospital appointments. I'm going to book in for some mystery shops in the area on the same day and can then actually make money instead of having to waste £15 each time. If one of them has mileage on top, then all the better :D.

I would really like a sat nav to help with getting to some mystery shops (am terrible at directions). If I had one, I could plan a day out somewhere, get enough MS jobs to make it worthwhile and use the sat nav to find them all. As long as I made sure the petrol wasn't that much, I would be quids in. Might drop some hints to my OH for Christmas.

Miserable outside today, so I'm okay with not having the car. The flat needs a good tidy, but I still need to do a bit of work. So my plan is to do 10 questions and 15 minutes of housework on a rotating basis :).

    Have a good day everyone.

Well you were looking at those, and this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Satin-King-Size-Duvet-Fitted/dp/B000UGYJ6A/ref=pd_sim_kh_6 caught my eye.

    Taste? What's that then? ;)

    :p Very tasteful indeed!! :rotfl:

My OH had a black satin duvet set quite a few years back. It was horrible. It used to give static shocks and you would wake in the middle of the night to find it had slid off on the floor!!

So now to avoid the static problem, I've gone looking at silk bedding. Only a bargainous £670...

I think I'll have 2 at that price... :rotfl:
