Thanks Beccie and CA.
So pleased I am nearly at my target for the bed. I'm going to go for the rest of the week to see how much more I can get and then order at the weekend. Even if I have to put £25 towards it for the time being and get the money back through Jackpot Joy and surveys, then so be it. When you're talking about a £205 bed, £25 is nothing really.
OH's parents aren't staying until Thursday 21st July now. But for 3 nights . They just kind of take over when they stay here and I'm really a 'like my own space' kind of person. I think that's why I've found it so hard to adjust to OH moving in.
The good news is that OH is away in Glasgow from tomorrow until Friday. So I can get some 'me time' before his parents descend on us. I'm seriously going to sort out the flat too. Needs a declutter and major tidy up. It's easier to do it when I haven't got OH here being messy.
Must go and pick OH up from the station.

Dropped OH off at the train station this morning so that is him gone until Friday. He was complaining of a sore throat, so I'm glad he's not around to pass his germs on to me.
Going to start the declutter tonight. Need to get ready for when the bed arrives. My list for tonight is:
Clear my desk area.
Sort out big cupboard.
Clear the top of the wardrobe.
Sort out the items to go in the bed and store them by the dining table for now.
Sort out the drawers in the TV unit.
Going to try and do 5 different tasks a night to get the flat more orderly and then will be able to do the cleaning gradually over next week so that the flat is tidy for when OH's parents arrive.

That's worked for me - On Saturday night I made a list of things that needed doing round the flat - it was 52 things
But since then I've managed to knock 24 off the list - I've never been so clean and organisedDebt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -

I'd like to say that I did everything on that very small list, but I didn't. In my defence, I cleared out the drawers in the TV unit and kind of fancied watching a bit of Hugh Jackman, so I watched X-Men 1 and 2
. I did work at the same time though .
