    i dont have proof. he was staying at a friends house and only had to pay a bit of gas and elec.its so annoying we were talking about moving in in the next couple of months.i spoke to someone about appealing and they said it would take longer then just renewing the claim as joint

    so when you say the day they recieve the claim is that when they get the form cause if thats it its going to be more then 5 weeks.and is there a box on the form about saying about the 93 days
  • You will have to pay back 5 weeks worth though which according to your previous posts would be over £1000...seems like you may have been caught and that's the real reason you aren't appealing :) if the post asking about him moving in in September is anything to go by :)

    Were you also getting housing benefit, JSA or income support over this time?
  • It's the date that they recieve the claim or the date that it is put on the system unless you are claiming from a child birth and it is usually taken from this date. I don't think there is a box but it has been a long time since I have applied. Write it in the extra information section.
